Server you were playing on when banned: Wizards Den Your side of the story: Round started with me as HOS. Nobody in secbay. Im completely alone. Hear in chat that HOP has given out AA to syndie for a gun... LOCK UP COMPLETE SEC BAY. Securing all guns, making it impossible for looters to go on rampage. RD comes up. GIVE ME GUN. Give him laser gun = RD:"Seems like im sec now" Mutliple people come up to sec. "Shit sec" bla bla. I stand there an mark my ground that they can go against any fugitives. Some come up.. being vicious and they wanna join. One engie says they are both traitors. GAH Standing there... thinking on what i could do without dieing. BWOINK ADMIN: You are not doing your job. Me:Im alone. Im securing. Im not trusting HOP on giving me good officiers. ADMIN: You should do it anyway and not just standing around or do you job. Me thinks: 1. Either i arm myself up completely and go against all traitors on my own = Probably Bann because of murderboating 2. Let others become officiers and being overwhelmed by traitors in sec bay = Probably short shift and being blamed for being to naive or worse, being call "shitsec" 3.Suicide because Admin forces me to come out of my safe haven. Like a bird kicking out the younglings to learn to fly. I go for 3. Admin: Suicide as a Head is an issue... Why you think you should be unbanned: Never ever in my time as playing sec (for about 3 weeks or more?) Ive got any issues. Except for this one... Clown abuse thingy. And i still think that there is no such thing as "clown abuse". I was playing Sec correctly as i was Warden and officiers and i have AT LEAST 3 rounds where players said that sec was wonderfull! Either i was warden,Hos or officier. Anything else we should know: i recite: the best move is not to play - This line was spoken by Joshua (voiced by John Wood) in the film WarGames, directed by John Badham (1983). Or to be more precise, i kept sec bay clean. I mean... before my body has began to rott in the Vault. A round is meant to be fun... active and fun. What i can´t decide is what others see in that situation... (Admin who banned me didn´t know the start of the round) Btw to give you ean earworm: Ladyyyy in Reeeeeeeeed I was thinking about doing something but that was forced and Admin didn´t know what is currently going on with others Heads. HoP was a new player, or just plain incompetent and gave out AA to a snydi. The snydicate member constantly kept walking into the engineering lobby, and "checking" out the ame. The HoP also assigned random people to engineering who all just wanted insulated gloves for whatever reason. The captain didn't seem to know what the comms console was either in this shift. With several incompetent heads, I don't quite believe it is fair to keep them job banned over this shift based off my knowledge and perspective of the shift. I was but one person in the fray. Game Admin Stealth16 Posted June 24, 2022 Game Admin Share Posted June 24, 2022 (edited) I'd argue that barricading security out of fear of a bad HoP allowing traitors to have access and then committing suicide instead of doing your job is pretty much the opposite of fine. This appeal is extremely bloated and horribly formatted. It contains a bunch of completely irrelevant information and useless commentary. If you spent as much effort ingame trying to do your job as you spent coloring words on this appeal there wouldn't be a problem. This ban holds. Appeal again in two weeks.
