Do you have any SS14 experience outside of Wizard's Den servers, or any SS13 experience? -I have played a bit on Frontier but could never get into SS 13 because the UI was too overwhelming.

Do you have prior administration experience (SS13/SS14 experience preferred, please also post a way for us to verify this)? -I run and manage my own server and themed clan with nearly 200 members via discord. I have also been an admin for a few furry artist servers. Will dm names privately to verify.

Have you ever been banned from any SS14 or SS13 servers? -Negative.

Admins have the ability to perform various tasks which are not available to the average player. An incomplete list of these tasks is: in-game rule enforcement, in-game events, ban appeals, and out-of-game rule enforcement through things like replay/log reviews in response to player reports. With these, and any other tasks you're aware of in mind, answer the following two questions.

What are you primarily interested in doing as an admin? -I wanna help players have fun and be someone people feel like they can ask questions to learn.

What are you least interested in doing as an admin? -I think the biggest thing I'm not looking forward to actually having to punish someone.

Answer the following questions in detail, so we can get a better idea of how you'd approach adminning.

What role do you think game admins serve on our servers?
-Coming from someone who plays a lot of D&D, I see admins as benevolent beings who are there to make sure the crew aren't being murder hobos, and having fun. Keep the peace and help players have fun, so a dungeon master!

Why do you want to become an administrator for SS14?
-I usually play a couple hours of this game every night to destress from my hectic job. I also play on my days off intermittently throughout the day. I main security ingame because I like helping the crew and making sure everyone, even the prisoners are having fun. I see being an admin as a way to further those efforts even when I might not actively be playing the game.

How do you feel about the current roleplay status on the servers?
-I prefer LRP simply because of the chaos and unpredictability it provides. When it comes to game design as a whole I usually prefer to have the game lay out the rules via mechanics rather than having a list of rules. That being said I also understand that I'm not everyone, I've learned to love SS14 very quickly despite the comparatively long list of rules. I feel like MRP and LRP are both decent experiences for different players overall.

Other than banning problematic players, what admin actions do you believe have the biggest positive impact?
I used to hate admemes because I only ever saw cat spam and end of round griefing, but recently I was the "victim" of an admeme myself. An admin haunted me, temporarily provided me with AA unbeknownst to me, and made me glow purple and sometimes shoot purple lightning. It was really funny when I went to sec because the chaplain wasnt responding and accidently wandered right in. The round was kinda boring and I sounded so crazy freaking out about being purple on service radio. It was probably my most memorable experience and I think admins that spice up dull rounds probably have the biggest impact. Keeps things fresh!

Have you ever had a negative experience in the game or with a game admin? If so what, if anything, would you do to prevent other players from experiencing this?
-I can't say for certain but there was one time I joined mid game as a borg and as soon as I got on the station everyone was complaining that I was a bad borg when I wasn't. I was trying to be funny and typing a space between each letter since robot and I guess I got !admin'd because an admin came on and seemed really upset. They ended up complaining about how I was typing and I felt like their choice of words were harsh when they could of just said "please don't put a space between every letter".

If it were me and the letter spacing was an issue I'd just get to the point and ask them to please not put a space between every letter and leave it at that.

Have you ever had a good experience with the game or a game admin? If so, what was it?
-I once was a warden and it was kinda hectic since I was dealing with multiple prisoners. We had a body somebody confirmed to be a blood red but I didn't have time to put it in medical morgue so I put it in my office's trash temporarily so it didn't start filling the area with miasma. I forgot about it though and an admin contacted me about it and they were very understanding why I forgot and gave me a pass. Ever since then I delegate tasks to secoffs if I need to instead of trying to do everything myself!

The following are scenarios, respond with how you would handle each as an administrator. Respond with the assumption that you are an administrator with full access to the admin tools, and that you have all the knowledge needed to use these tools. Respond in detail, explain the reasons behind decisions you make and describe any assumptions you are making. When you need to make an assumption, it is preferred for you to describe how differences in the assumption would affect your actions.

It is the start of the round. There are 60 players on the server. The game mode is traitors, traitors have not been selected yet. There are three players who decided to observe the round instead of join it orbiting you. Two of them are encouraging you to "do something funny".
-I don't think I'd do anything. People are still probably getting to grips with the station and are setting stuff up and I feel like anything I could do would be disruptive. I also want to give the traitors a chance to get chosen and do some of their shenanigans before doing anything "funny".

I guess I could spawn a couple non-antag ghost roles for the observers if they wished but I don't know, I feel like the round should play out a bit before I go in and touch anything.

You see a clown using crayon to write on the floor in front of security. The clown writings are negative things about security, like "shitsec". A secoff tells the clown that they're being arrested for vandalism, stuns them, and cuffs them. Before the secoff is able to get the clown into the brig, a passenger slips the secoff, causing them to lose their baton, then uses the baton to stun another secoff that comes to help as the clown runs away. The passenger escapes through disposals. Having heard an AOS radio callout, the detective enters maintenance near disposals and shoots the passenger to crit. There are four players in this scenario, the clown, the passenger, the secoff, and the detective.
-The security officer should have given the clown a chance to cooperate by attempting to cuff them before going straight to stunning.
-If the passenger is a syndi and the clown somehow helps them achieve their tasks, I think I'd give them a pass. Otherwise it's self antag and against the rules.
-The passenger was not posing a lethal threat to the detective so lethal force would not be appropriate, also sec starts out with rubbers so the detective should not have had lethals loaded unless they were confident with their baton or had a disabler, which they used neither of.
-I honestly feel like the clown did nothing wrong and I'd have to view a replay to see if the clown also self-antagged if they weren't a syndi.

I honestly don't feel like I have enough information to fairly answer this question. I just know that sec was overzealous with their use of force and depending on the rp level I'd give the detective a more firm warning about use of force. If the passenger and clown were antags and were helping each other I wouldn't do anything but if the passenger was self antagging depending on their playtime I might give them a time out. IDK I feel like it takes a good bit of playing to be able to slip a secoff and then baton a second secoff AND get away via disposals. I feel like that experience level would mean they should know about self antag rules and I'd follow up.

You and another admin have been adminning for around an hour. The rate of issues has been easily manageable due to having 2 admins. Neither of you have been talking in admin chat. You are using ahelp to warn a player for breaking a rule when the other admin joins the ahelp and confirms that it is against the rules, but that it's fine in this case and they can ignore the rule for the rest of the round. You haven't taken any other admin actions yet, such as applying a ban or writing a note.
-This is hard. First, I would talk to the other admin that is online. If it's against the rules why can the player suddenly ignore it? I would like context and since the other admin is already handling it I'd politely ask for context. If I think the context doesn't warrant being able to ignore it I might bring it up to the appropriate senior admin/role so they can help the other admin learn whats appropriate or correct me. I think at this point I shouldn't get involved with the player because it'd confuse them and either let it play out if its harmless or let a higher up clear up the situation.
