Unable to take steakm screenshots of the game

Hey! I'm having this issue, where i'm unable to save any screenshots from the main game, it just doesn't save them despite anything i've done. It shows a black square and that's sadly all about it. On a side note, taking screenshots of the in-game menu, before joining in a round, works just fine. Thanks in advance!

(also, im new and i'd like to know, can i share my artwork here?)

What is a steam screenshot? How's it different from a normal screenshot? Won't a normal screenshot work?

(I'm pretty sure you can share your art here. And I personally would enjoy if more people did that.)

steam screenshot is the same thing as a normal one. just a simple button you press (F12) and boom

Well, uhm, what I'm thinking is, why would steam even have its own screenshot tool? Is snip what Windows' native screenshot tool is called? I haven't used Windows in a decade, I sincerely don't know.

Now a more useful question: if there is a native tool, does that native tool manage to capture a screenshot?

Steam has had it's own screenshot tool since 2011.  : ^ )

You press a button, it screenshots and you have your own screenshots to share on the steam profile/platform easily.
