Have you been banned from our game servers or SS13 servers before? Never from ss14, a few ss13 bans over the years, most prolific was an appealed (and accepted) perma from vg, haven't had any incidents since then.
This is the more essay-y part of the application, you should answer the following questions in detail, so we can get a better idea of how you'd approach adminning.
What role do you think game admins serve on our servers?
Enabling the fun of the players, whether it be by dunking shitters, or adding more flavor and spice to the round to encourage a gimmick or roleplay, or to add something into the slower moments. Admins are supposed to watch and nudge the server to make the players have their own fun, only taking direct action when needed, or when a situation actually calls for it. Some occasions can be more bus heavy than others, but by and large, admins exist to enable players, not to micromanage or change the round drastically every time.
How do you feel about the current roleplay status on the server?
Its a nice mix between fun ss13 and heavy roleplay, you can see people put effort in, at least the minimum, and in my opinion, immersion is by and large, kept throughout most of the time. People know its a game, but also that its a wacky space station roleplaying game, and act accordingly.
Why do you want to become an administrator for SS14?
Because with ss14 gaining actual traction now, byonds days are numbered, and i'd like to see a few of the ideals i've learned over the years from playing, adminning, and getting admin'd upon passed over to the new generation of servers and players. At the risk of sounding bad, having someone who's been on both sides of the good player/bad player fence is a good perspective to have on admin teams, at least in my own opinion. Many servers have a rule zero clause, allowing admins to act against the rules if they believe it to be in the better interest of the round or community at large, which is something I have used constantly to make the experience more interesting and memorable for the players.
