SS14 account: JackieC333 Character name: Doctor Man -> Drone Type of Ban: Game ban Date of Ban and Duration: 4/12/2022 About 8 AM, Appeal only Reason for Ban: The server you were playing on when banned: Lizard Your side of the story: I don't remember that clearly, but I believed that I got killed five minutes into the game, and since not many people were playing then, I decided to deconstruct the substations so that we could restart the round. Why do you think you should be unbanned: After about six months without playing, I realize how selfish I am to ruin someone else's game for my enjoyment. In these six months, I have been reflecting on how to treat everyone I know with respect and work together as a team rather than sabotaging someone's game. I would be a good doctor and treat my patients with respect. When I die, I would close the game instead of grieving. Anything else we should know: As I have addressed in my previous ban appeals, this game means a lot to me. I hope the kind moderators will forgive me, and I will never let you down again.

Your side of the story: It was early in the morning and the admins are asleep. In the OOC chat before the match, we all agreed that we should have some fun before the admins awoke. Looking back at this, I realize this is extremely stupid since the admins can just read the logs. Anyway, my main character was killed five minutes into the game when me trying to kill the traitor after he raided the armory. Then, when I was in ghost role and I chose the drone. I admit I did destroy the substations because I wanted the round to restart, or at least not be that boring. I was then killed by the engineer hunting me while I was trying to figure out how to drag my lifeless body from the disposals to the morgue. Why you think you should be unbanned: I understand how teamwork is important in this game after playing other multiplayer games. After about a month away from ss14, I am both excited to see how this station has improved and how I matured as a person. I would be thankful if the admins give me another chance. Thank you.

Why you think you should be unbanned: Honestly, I don't know. This is my fifth ban and I know the admins might not trust me anymore. Even though I think I'm a pretty good bartender and an okay doctor and scientist, I don't really know what to expect when I picked the ghost roles. I was never good at engineering so I probably shouldn't even pick the drone. I will try to learn engineering before playing the drone again, or I probably just pick a rat or a pai for my afterlife. I did understand the rules of the drone, but my actions are like what happened after a child pulling a toy apart and don't know how to put it back together. I am thankful that the engineer helped the crew to fix the station after my damage. I understand the level of my sins and I understand that redemption has to be made in order to repent my sins. I have little hope of my ban being truely appealed, but I beg the admins to give me one year of time to reflect and come back to the station after I become more mature. If there is any other way I can achieve redemption, please let me know. Anything else we should know: I understand this may have nothing to do with the ban, but I would like to thank the creators of this game. I have never played the original SS13 and this is my first experience with it. I was amazed by the complexity of this game and the learning curve needed to be good at this game. I had some really good memories about this game. The people in this game are very friendly, even the admins. I remember dearly the one time the admin turned cargo into a bar, and made me the Booze-O-Mat in front of it. I love this community, this game, and I don't want this game to just become a part of my memory. When I'm first banned, I can feel a part of my gaming life ripped out of me, that I don't really know what else to play expect this game. I am only writing this because I may be banned permanently if this appeal ever get rejected. I thank the admins and the community for making this game awesome, and I hope to see you guys in the station again one day.

Yes, I understand. However, it is quite unfair to ban me for something that I am not. I will not joke about my age for now on. I can provide proof that I am 17 if you really need it. The point is, I am not 15 and it would be nice if the admins decided to unban me. Sorry for the trouble.

SS14 account: JackieC333 Character name: Jam Marton When was the ban: 3/22/2022 6:50 Server you were playing on when banned: Lizard Your side of the story: I got banned for an entire year for a joke. Literally. So, I was a chef for a round and one clown was griefing me a lot. He got into kitchen when we asked him to leave and we startedto attack him since we did ask him nicely at first. He ran away and we didn't gave chase, since I beleive that he would not come back if he does not want some more beating. I, then, countinue my work as a chef. However, the clown shows up once again and put metal into my microwave, thus, blowing up my entire kitchen and causing structural damage. I believe that this would be considered greifing in Space Law so I decided to attack him. He jumped into the trashcan and ran away. I ask the bartender to find him in order to prevent him from causing my kitchen anymore damage. We walked down the hall to find the clown's body. I finished him off, and the officers and other spectators all agreed that we should not clone him and instead spike him. However, I did not know that clowns cannot be spiked, which causes one annoying associate to show up and take the clown's corpse to medbay and clone him. I followed him to medbay and they tripped me down and stole all of my belonging, including the PDA to allow me to countinue my work as a chef. I wrote to admin about this, but then he brushed it off as me being immature and a raging kid. I told him the clown's actions would be consider cyberbullying (as a joke), and the admin responded with something like "what, are you 15 or something?" I did not understand if this is a joke or not, but decided to respond "yes" as a joke since I viewed this responce as not serious at all. Not five minutes later, the ban screens comes up for me being underage. This is simply not true and I believe that I should not be banned for joking about my age. I am currently 17 and turning 18 in April. I could provide proof in dms if the admins really need it. I believe the one year ban is simply too severe of a punishment for this. I hope this ban meant as a joke too, even though it is not a funny one. Why you think you should be unbanned: I believe I was simply doing my job. I admit I did use excessive force against the clown but I won't anymore if I am unbanned. I would, instead, call security and let them do the same thing. Being a chef is hard, and trying to maintain calm under infurating plays is even harding. However, if the admins give me another chance to redeem myself, I will not let you guys down.

Your side of the story: So I was playing chemist and I was testing out the effects of unstable mutagen and the effective dosage in order to kill a person. I started with afk players but then they all died out. Then, I used some active players. I know I probably shouldn't do this without their consent but I'm really running out of test subjects. I know I didn't mention this but this is what is going on. I should probably label the pills properly too. After feeding, I would always provide medical aid if they need it. I provided and crafted all kinds of drugs in case of any emergency and helped the medical staff when they need it. I provided antirads for every patient and revived those who died. After some time, my lunch period is over and I have to go back to class. This is the reason why I left. I forgot if I used /ghost before leaving since I don't think I'll be coming back. Before I left I don't remember seeing ahelp in my screen. For the other part of my ban, I didn't meant to be antisemitism but the traitor killed me and he had Goldberg in his name. I didn't meant to call him a wealthy man bastard and I only insulted him because he killed me, not because his race or anything. I admit that I should have chosen another insult than that or just to keep my cool, but he killed me within five minutes of my arrival so it is a bit infuriating. I am terribly sorry if I offend Mr. Goldberg or anyone. I will no longer insult anyone in infuriating situations. Why you think you should be unbanned: I understand my actions have broken space law and I would like to face the consequences. However, I do not believe that my actions deserve a perma-ban. I would like to appeal for an unban. In return, I will promise to become a more competent chemist and provide proper medical help to all crewmates. Moreover, I will no longer continue my tests on unstable mutagen. I will not test of AFK crewmates anymore. I did my time (one week appeal) and I hope the admins will forgive my actions.
