  1. In-game Username: DriverZip Discord username: Acceces20 Characters you play: Martin Smith On average, how many hours do you expect to admin per week: Around 16-17 hours. Days you are available to admin on: Pretty much everyday if I'm not busy. How old are you? 18 Do you have any SS14 experience outside of Wizard's Den servers, or any SS13 experience? -Played somewhere around 50 hours on "Frontier Station" branch relatively recently and I played TG SS13 a LOT before discovering SS14. Do you have prior administration experience? -I don't have any prior experience. Have you ever been banned from any SS14 or SS13 servers? -I don't quite remember, pretty sure I was back when I started playing SS14 a few years back and I didn't know most of the mechanics which could have caused some accidents. What are you primarily interested in doing as an admin? -Keeping LRP servers... reasonably shitter free and making cool events for players to have fun with from time to time. What are you least interested in doing as an admin? -Ban applications. What role do you think game admins serve on our servers? -Game admins enforce rules and stop people from self-antagging. They also respond to Ahelps and generally just try and keep everything enjoyable for everyone during the round they are in. If an admin has to ban someone and they make an appeal on the forums it is also the responsibility of the admin that banned the person to accept or decline their appeal depending on many criteria. Why do you want to become an administrator for SS14? -I saw plenty of shitters and self-antaggers over the course of many months of me playing SS14, but they were never dealt with in time due to no admins being online at the time to respond, or there not being enough admins to deal with every Ahelp. I want to help fix that. How do you feel about the current roleplay status on the servers? -LRP is absolute chaos. There is practically no roleplay, which can be expected from LRP, but when I got lucky I was able to roleplay with some of the players a little. -I can't really talk about MRP since I never played on there, but I expect it to be much more tame. Other than banning problematic players, what admin actions do you believe have the biggest positive impact? -Helping out players that have questions regarding the game or what they are about to do (Eg. People asking if they can do X without getting into trouble or getting bwoinked) and creating interesting events to spice up boring rounds or greenshifts. Have you ever had a negative experience in the game or with a game admin? If so what, if anything, would you do to prevent other players from experiencing this? -I was once brigged for 10 minutes for picking up Hammy and running away from a cadet that told me to put it down, a clown and some other people slipped the cadet, took his baton, and shoved him around. Due to me being close to the cadet, he thought that it was me who was shoving him around and stealing his baton and told warden that I assaulted him and stole his equipment. Once I was in brig the cadet repeatedly punched me for trying to get out of cuffs while i was locked inside the brig cell they placed me in, and had put a muffle on me once I started to call them out for being shitsec. Have you ever had a good experience with the game or a game admin? If so, what was it? -I've had a lot of good roleplay sessions even while I was on LRP, and mostly everyone was nice and respectful and the game is generally a lot of fun for me. And in the interaction above, someone seems to have Ahelped and I was released from brig a few minutes later. It is the start of the round. There are 60 players on the server. The game mode is traitors, traitors have not been selected yet. There are three players who decided to observe the round instead of join it orbiting you. Two of them are encouraging you to "do something funny". -It is far too early into the round considering that traitors weren't even chosen yet, so I would just ignore the pleads for funny and explain this to the two spectators. You see a clown using crayon to write on the floor in front of security. The clown writings are negative things about security, like "shitsec". A secoff tells the clown that they're being arrested for vandalism, stuns them, and cuffs them. Before the secoff is able to get the clown into the brig, a passenger slips the secoff, causing them to lose their baton, then uses the baton to stun another secoff that comes to help as the clown runs away. The passenger escapes through disposals. Having heard an AOS radio callout, the detective enters maintenance near disposals and shoots the passenger to crit. There are four players in this scenario, the clown, the passenger, the secoff, and the detective. -Clown: They shouldn't be punished for anything, and they shouldn't have been arrested for drawing with crayons. Even though the drawings were insulting sec, it's not something someone should be brigged or bwoinked for, although on MRP I would assume space law is taken more seriously, so it could be justifiable that they were arrested on there but, again, I never played MRP myself. -Passenger: If the passenger is a antagonist, I wouldn't punish or warn them for anything, they could be using this as an opportunity to get a stun baton or other security gear. But if they aren't a antag, I would warn them that stealing security equipment is punishable by itself, and they shouldn't interfere with an arrest even when its not for a valid reason. -Secoff: I would explain to the secoff that drawing "shitsec" isn't a crime that they can put people in brig for, and that they should first ask the warden/HOS/a senior before putting someone in brig if they are unsure if a person has committed a crime or the time they are planning to give them. -Detective: The detective had used excessive escalation, so I would warn them that they should have attempted to arrest the passenger instead of using lethals especially when they don't have any firearms. You and another admin have been adminning for around an hour. The rate of issues has been easily manageable due to having 2 admins. Neither of you have been talking in admin chat. You are using ahelp to warn a player for breaking a rule when the other admin joins the ahelp and confirms that it is against the rules, but that it's fine in this case and they can ignore the rule for the rest of the round. You haven't taken any other admin actions yet, such as applying a ban or writing a note. I would ask the other admin why, since I don't really want to tell senior admins what to do and I might not be understanding something correctly. The player could have Ahelped something, the other admin responded, allowed him to ignore the rule for the duration of the round for whatever reason and didn't communicate with me about it, so when I saw him breaking the rule, I didn't know that he was allowed to by the other admin.
  2. Role(s): Chemist Length of ban: Permament Events leading to the ban: I was banned from chemist on 2022-03-01, I don't remember what exactly happened, but according to the ban description I was apparently constantly making bombs and poisons instead of doing my job, which I don't remember at all Reason the ban should be removed: I feel like it was a mistake. I don't remember making explosives and especially poisons. I haven't used them on anyone as far as I remember.
  3. Sorry, forgot to add one answer: Have you been banned from our game servers or SS13 servers before? I did, but it was only one time when I, as a chemist, wanted to find out what is CLF3.
  4. In-game Username: DriverZip Discord username: DriverZip#9197 Characters you play: Rodrigo Kelly How long have you been playing SS13 or SS14? I've been playing SS13 for about a year. I have played SS14 for 105 hours and I still play both games. How many hours are you available per day: Most of the time from 15:00 to 19:00 EET Days you are available on: Mostly every day. Prior administration experience: I wasn't a moderator or administrator before. What role do you think game admins serve on our servers? I believe that administrators on your servers serve purpose of preventing self-antagging and toxicity. And they are the people that prevent the server from falling apart due to griefers and other factors. Administrators from time to time make various events to spice up the rounds. But I never got to play when those events happen. And they are generally a huge part of the community and they are the ones that come to help first when a problem comes. How do you feel about the current roleplay status on the server? The roleplay on the servers is decent. I love to participate in heavy roleplaying sometimes. But then a guy that got killed by the antagonist gets cloned and as they get revived they immediately say who is the antagonist and that just ruins the whole aspect of wondering who is the traitor on the station. Why do you want to become an administrator for SS14? There are not always administrators online on the servers and when people find out about that, some of them grief while there are no admins on the server, which ruins the fun of everyone playing. And I would like to help fix this constant problem. Personally I just like to spectate as well, just to see how things turn out on the station.
  5. In-game Username: DriverZip Discord username: DriverZip#9197 Characters you play: Rodrigo Kelly How long have you been playing SS13 or SS14? I've played SS13 for a solid one year. Eventually I got pretty frustrated over the amount of bugs and lag issues and then I switched to SS14 when I found it. I have 73 hours of playtime on SS14 and I still actively play the game. How many hours are you available per day: Most of the time I'm available every day from 16:00 to 21:00 EET. Days you are available on: Mostly every day. Prior administration experience: I haven't really been an admin in any game or group. I wanted to start getting into this type of stuff and decided to begin with SS14. Have you been banned from our game servers or SS13 servers before? Yes, but that was only one time when I was just getting into the two games. Meaning I didn't understand most of the mechanics of the two games as they are quite complex to learn and master. What role do you think game admins serve on our servers? I believe game admins on your servers serve purpose of preventing non-antagonist players from Self-Antagging. Such as Random killing, Griefing, Etc. And preventing any toxicity in the servers. (Non-joke insults, personal insults, Discrimination, Etc.) And to make sure both new veteran players feel welcome on SS14. How do you feel about the current roleplay status on the server? The roleplay status on the servers is just fine. Yes, sometimes people break already low roleplay standards, but as stated, roleplaying is preffered, but its not necessary to roleplay extremely strictly. I believe most importantly is to just have fun playing. Why do you want to become an administrator for SS14? I've played SS13 and 14 for awhile now, and I want to finally help the community in some way. I would really enjoy making a good atmosphere on SS14 servers so everyone can have fun playing the game. And definitely not to spawn banana peels under people.
