  1. Is it ok to leave feedback about the applicants IC conduct?
  2. It seems to be a much more common trend for someone to start screaming about a protest or a riot, people group up, usually in front of security or bridge and the round severely deteriorates from there. How is command / security supposed to deal with such an occurance and what kind of force/sentences can be used?
  3. You should check out the other servers that didn't implement the user-unfriendly interface yet.
  4. I accidentally liked your post instead of leaving a laugh emoji. Please continue providing endless entertainment, your posts are priceless.
  5. In regards to space law on LRP, I hope that equal outcomes get equal treatment, regardless of what was used to achieve said outcome. A bar of soap applies an instant stun, long enough to apply cuffs, same as attacking someone with a stun baton. Yet one of those stuns is a "harmless" prank done with an item that's not even considered a weapon, and the other is assault with a weapon. Lube foam makes a large area unusable until it is repaired, just like an explosion without victims. Yes, I want soap to be considered a stun weapon as that's the intended use for the item and I don't want to pretend on LRP how that is not the case. What I'm getting at is that Instead of addressing individual items or categories like contraband/explosives or traditional crimes, LRP law could address behavior from a game mechanic point of view: applying stuns, obstructing movement, accumulating gear/access, wasting a job slot, role overreach (salvage doing most jobs)
  6. Subject: spaceylady Policies or Expectations Violated: 2.6 Do not interfere unless you are needed. Do you want this complaint to be made public after it is processed: Yes Detailed Summary: Round #38077 lizard server https://cdn.centcomm.spacestation14.com/replays/lizard/2023/11/13/lizard-2023_11_13-17_28-round_38077.zip Refused to clarify what I did wrong despite warning me that I did something wrong, quoting rules that did not relate to any situation during the round (20,21) and insisting that my actions were somehow no-RP (despite not saying which actions). I don't actually understand what the entire issue was about and hence from my POV it was a needless warning as I was not even told what I am being warned for. From my limited understanding, the admin in question took issue with me stripping a catatonic syndicate agent to take their items, while I was still in the process of doing so. If that is not the case then I would welcome the admin spaceylady to at the very least explain exactly what I did in that round that warranted a warning. The above is just a guess, as again, I was not told what I am being warned for.
  7. Friend/Foe recognition for melee combat, where we can designate entities which are exclusively targeted by all our melee attacks, preventing hitting any other entity. Abusing overlapping sprites in melee is stupid.
  8. I'm the random name button taking your maint gear.
  9. The killing happened near 01:22:04 in replay time. I think from the way you type that there could be dyslexia at play and I can understand how you could confuse this situation for a zombie turning, however it doesn't explain the need to keep me cuffed to your office bed and bolted down until round end.
  10. The orders to let a passenger keep syndicate mag boots, captains armor, security jetpack and whatever else they had, just because you are good friends with them OOC? Can you explain in detail how I tried to kill you? Here's the replay for the relevant round which you can play by drag-and-dropping the file onto your open SS14 launcher, in case you don't remember. https://cdn.centcomm.spacestation14.com/replays/lizard/2023/10/26/lizard-2023_10_26-19_29-round_36575.zip
  11. Character setup -> stats tab top right
  12. Can you explain the justification for Warden and HOS having roundstart insulated gloves as part of their wardrobe, if insulated gloves are not needed for their jobs? It seems to be the same issue but one is arbitrarily allowed, or maybe I should ahelp their usage without reason?
  13. As a security officer, I walk through maint and see budget insulated gloves. I pick them up and put them on my hands, am I powergaming? As a clown, I walk through maint and find insulated gloves and a toolbelt, am I powergaming? Same as above, but as a passenger or any other non engineering job. Who is allowed to use items found in maintenance?
  14. It should indeed be able to do that. Reality is that even the department lathe is accessible only by the Warden and HOS (except on 2 maps). In my opinion, the very concept of cargo directly ordering and handling crates is flawed. Cargo should not be able to order anything related to any other department, every department should have an order-console and crates shouldn't be so easy to bust open.
  15. What's the alternative? A revolutionary gets arrested, security doesn't have mindshields ready and can't verify that they are a revolutionary without them. a) they get brigged for a few minutes because revs dont have syndicate items or uplinks b) they get perma because they killed someone and got caught in the act (unlikely, as even murder gets a small brig timer nowadays with hugbox hos/wardens.) Option A) doesn't change the round and it's assumed it's a normal greytider #432545. Option B) actively harms the round progression as now there's a potential rev head in perma, round never concludes.
