  1. Sorry for the extended delay, the moderation team has decided to reject this appeal. You may reappeal two weeks from now.

  3. This is the message that got you banned.
  4. Non-antag crew can generally loot bodies as long as they do not steal syndicate objectives off of people, eg. captain's lasergun, captain's spare ID, QM's digiboard, and so forth. However, there comes a problem when non-antags start stealing PDAs or IDs off of bodies. Not only does stealing those remove the owner's ability to access their department as well as the rest of the station, but the non-antag thief might also deprive the owner of their Uplink, should they have one. Therefore, non-antag crew shouldn't steal PDAs/IDs off of people unless it is absolutely necessary, such as during emergencies. An example of what when it would be appropriate to take a PDA/ID off of someone as a non-antag would be to drag the owner's corpse out of a locked area, should they be trapped inside. The owner of the PDA/ID should be given their PDA/ID back after the emergency. None of this applies to catatonic players as we do not count those as players.
  5. Would you mind giving us additional context as to what your behavior is when playing this character so that we may provide a proper response?
  6. All crew on MRP are expected to stay within their job and not do other people's jobs for them, however there are no restrictions on crew knowledge in regards to hacking doors. This applies whether or not the situation is an emergency.
  7. To enable speedy review of all appeals, appeals that meet certain requirements may bypass the standard, often lengthy, review process. Our banning policy requires appeals which are denied using the speedy review process have this notice placed on them. Any of the following criteria typically make an appeal eligible for the speedy review process: the ban length is less than or equal to 14 days, the appeal is older than 7 days, or the result of the appeal is obvious. In some cases, the banning admin may process the appeal. The banning admin cannot process the appeal if: the facts that led to the ban are disputed, the appeal makes a claim that the admin who placed it was biased, or the ban was not within the ban guidelines. You may contact a head game admin if you believe this appeal was handled improperly, but should be aware that this will typically only result in a review of the processing of the appeal itself, with the appeal being re-opened if an issue is found. An appeal is considered to have been processed improperly if the criteria to use the speedy review process was not met, or if the facts which the processing admin relied on to process the appeal were incorrect. You must concisely describe why you believe the appeal was handled improperly. If no issue is found with the processing of the appeal, the appeal itself will not be re-reviewed. If, in bad faith, you claim that an appeal was handled improperly, the reviewing head admin may decide to extend the time you must wait before you appeal and/or extend your ban duration. You can find a full list of staff, including head game admins at the staff directory.
  8. After reviewing the round, I've decided to deny this appeal. While the Riot Participation accusation is unsubstantiated, making yourself a pain to deal with for security is self-antagging, and for this reason, the ban is within guidelines. Please remember that every other player in the round is trying to enjoy the game, not just you. Keep this in mind when interacting with crew and security as a non-antag.
  9. These are examples of information that do not suggest a revolution: • A crewmember was caught carrying a flash and a pair of sunglasses. • Hearing a flash being used. Flash usage or possession does not immediately indicate subversive behavior. While these actions may draw suspicion to a regular crewmember, it is at most possession of restricted gear stolen from the security department. The flash may be confiscated should the crew member have no justifiable reason for possession, such as borg construction. These are examples of evidence that can be used to suspect a revolution: • Witnessing or hearing a report of revolutionary conversion (getting flashed and falling over for a few seconds). • A department head getting targeted, either assault or the head's death. A report of conversion from a reliable source (security or command) is sufficient grounds for security to suspect a revolution, and begin preparations to confirm the threat, such as ordering mindshields and attempting to mindshield suspects. Crew attempting to subvert command/security may be mindshielded. These are examples of evidence that can be used to identify and/or confirm a revolution: • Deconverting a revolutionary using a mindshield implant. The successful deconversion of a suspected revolutionary is irrefutable evidence that both confirms the presence of subversive elements on the station and allows security to neutralize the threat, such as mass mindshielding and allowing crew to attain flash resistant gear. It is important to note that Security is free to execute confirmed (through mindshielding) Head Revolutionaries as they see fit.
  10. While searching through logs I found an instance of you using the term 'retard' 3 days after your last ban for it expired. This would normally have resulted in an indefinite ban due to your history with slur use, so it's something you should also try to address for this appeal to be successful. Feel free to do that in a reply here.
  11. Considering this ban is not within guidelines, I have decided to accept this appeal. Please keep in mind that while mistakes happen, we still do not allow the use of other languages on our servers. This applies to both IC chat and OOC. As for round removing your targets or your colleague's targets as an antag, I see no issue in doing so within reason. I don't know if your last ban was while you were offline, so just to make sure you didn't miss it, please make sure you're not doing things like antag rolling, suiciding roundstart, or using info from death.
  12. The admin gave you a heads-up right at the start to drop the topic, yet you kept bringing it up despite the warnings. Here is the related ahelp. Considering the ban has been over for a long time, I will be closing this appeal. Please be mindful of other players when interacting with them in game.
