Ban reason: "[Self-antag][Round #50458] As a non-antag mime, stole the captain's PDA then gave themself and the clown AA. Then pretended to be the captain for the rest of the shift." Length of ban: 3 Days Events leading to the ban: So, in the beginning, I midround joined as the mime, then later got arrested for walking into Bridge with the clown and having a lovely walk around and closing the doors, for jokes, and then we peacefully (not exactly willingly), got arrested. I think the clown was released pretty early on, but the Captain specificly dragged me to sec and stripped me down bear and took EVERYTHING I wore to arrest me, and was also drunk, and it hurt me pretty bad IC, and I wanted to get revenge. So then later, I walked past cargo and saw the HoP smashing the captains head in with an axe, and decided to try dragging him to med while other vultures (tiders) tried to strip him dry, and then I remembered what he had done to me, so i decided to take his PDA and do a little clowning... Then after getting him to med, I left to bridge, and also took the clown with me since were a signature duo on SS14, clearly, all the while the HoP was there blindly letting me do this, so I assumed that, since my boss doesn't mind, that im alright do be doing my jokes, and since they also killed the Captain, I decided to dress myself up for the job, and name myself "Captain Mime", and then took the Clown and the HoP into the caps room to toast my promotion! Also I made the Clown the "HoP's Clown Assistant" with HoP access. at his request, and again the HoP didn't say anything against it. Then I poures some shots of Captains Cuban and toasted! (Throughout ALL of this, I NEVER got Bwoinked at all), then the CE and cap ran in, and immediately the cap decided to start beating the HoP to a pulp, at this point i assumed the cap was a shitter, so i decided to write a note saying something along the lines "Captain, im really sorry about this but you are demoted" and started killing them with the caps sword, took it off the ground when i was dragging him to med from cargo earlier, and the CE decided to start beating me to death with the axe while the cap was crit, and not wanting to harm an innocent head i just jumped down disposals and got myself healed. At this point like half the station has AA because some tider was printing it, so I decided to do some capping and labelled the Cap and CE as wanted, mainly because I wanted to talk to them, but OOC at this point i had overdone it a lot and I knew it, but I hadn't been ahelped at all, so I decided to just not use lethals from that point, went to sec, and grabbed a stun baton as i set the two as Wanted. Some of this may not be 100% accurate because replay is being extremly buggy and not letting me scroll so I can't check it at the moment. Then the (extremely robust) Hugs-the-Void HoS arrested me for arresting the captain and dragging him to sec, but then some secoff uncuffed me so I ran again. At this point the cap wanted me dead but everyone was so viciously confused nothing was being done, so i also arrested the CE, i arrested them both since they were both trying to KoS me essentially. Then brought them to sec, and had to run again since the Cap shouted "ITS THE MIME" or something and im scared im just gonna straight up get shot to death. Later after a big more running around being a funny mime captain, I refused some engis Captain Locker access, as they asked me for it, and then the CE (or cap dont remember) saw me and chased me into a dead end where I froze and let myself be cuffed, and from there the Cap and CE were trying REALLY REALLY hard to not kill me right there and fun, and were clearly having fun (just pointing out for later) and said like "Death is too good for this mime, centcom will give them the ice" and both started laughing maniacally lol. Later on the shuttle some bug let me struggle from my cuffs, and then I got away but it was EOR so it didn't matter. Man that was a bit long, and maybe not 100% accurate since i can't check the replay right now, sorry Reason the ban should be removed: This entire scenario played out as it did because of other Head major skill issues (joke). But in all seriousness I did take it too far, I just hold a vendetta for people who unmask mimes/clowns, always have, and took my revenge against the cap a little too far. I tried to make the conflict as enjoyable as possible for everyone, and tried to minimize actually antagging, other than just robbing. The reason I think it isn't fair I got banned was because, after this round ended, in OOC the cap literally said, quote "OOC: Sonofspaceballs: I WAS THE CAPTAIN AND I FUCKING LOVED THAT SHIFT" (no jokes lmao) and i never ONCE got AHELPED at ALL, furthermore I played into the next shift as a salv during flukie warops, and never ONCE got ahelped about the previous shift, and at the end of the round I randomly got shadowbanned with no warning, no discussion or anything. I don't know who tha banning admin was, I don't know who ahelped me, but I do know that i overdid it with my prank, and will NOT take over the entire station in the name of revenge again, I promise :)

With SS14 I am very well versed in almost every single thing have 400+ hours on Delta-V and have played and adminned on other servers other than Wilden such as Apocalypse station, Frontier Station, Ekrixi and used to play on Frigid rock, and Combat Rim 14 when they were online (rip Combat Rim my beloved Frontier predecessor) Do you have prior administration experience (SS13/SS14 experience preferred, please also post a way for us to verify this)?Yes, On SS14 I have adept understanding of administration, know a lot important commands and off the top of my head, and am a Head Admin on Apocalypse station (very chaotic and griefer full server). When I first started playing on Space station I was a bit of a shitter and was naming my character inappropriately, and then angering and admin and getting temp banned. Afterwards I decided to try to evade my ban which resulted in it being escalated to permanent. I have also been banned from other servers for various reasons, all being minor shittery. However in January-Febuary of 2023 I was able to clear my name and get unbanned from every single server. As of now, I am not banned on any SS14 server. I have yet to be banned from an SS13 server. Admins have the ability to perform various tasks which are not available to the average player. An incomplete list of these tasks is: in-game rule enforcement, in-game events, ban appeals, and out-of-game rule enforcement through things like replay/log reviews in response to player reports. With these, and any other tasks you're aware of in mind, answer the following two questions. What are you primarily interested in doing as an admin? Yes, I once got killed and gibbed by a non syndicate person who wanted to "operate" on me and ahelped, and had to wait a good 20 minutes before an admin dealt with it and then respawned me. I feel as though that amount time for a single non antag griefer and a respawn is too much. A lot of the time I also never get replied to. Have you ever had a good experience with the game or a game admin? If so, what was it? Once a while ago there was a bug with the jetpack where if you had it turned on while you went crit and it was on your back, it would forever fly you in the direction you were going, once it happened to me while I was fighting a solo op and I began flying very far into space and I ahelped and almost immediately the admin turned off the jetpack and comedically dragged me through space back to where I could be found, and later was then got revived. The following are scenarios, respond with how you would handle each as an administrator. Respond with the assumption that you are an administrator with full access to the admin tools, and that you have all the knowledge needed to use these tools. When you need to make an assumption, it is preferred for you to describe how differences in the assumption would affect your actions. It is the start of the round. There are 60 players on the server. The game mode is traitors, traitors have not been selected yet. There are three players who decided to observe the round instead of join it orbiting you. Two of them are encouraging you to "do something funny". Either ignore them or mouse smite them while hovering in maints, never defined who they wanted it to be funny to. You see a clown using crayon to write on the floor in front of security. The clown writings are negative things about security, like "shitsec". A secoff tells the clown that they're being arrested for vandalism, stuns them, and cuffs them. Before the secoff is able to get the clown into the brig, a passenger slips the secoff, causing them to lose their baton, then uses the baton to stun another secoff that comes to help as the clown runs away. The passenger escapes through disposals. Having heard an AOS radio callout, the detective enters maintenance near disposals and shoots the passenger to crit. There are four players in this scenario, the clown, the passenger, the secoff, and the detective. Firstly, I would ahelp the secoff after they are no longer busy with the conflict as to why they immediately arrested the clown without roleplaying it, or at the very least just instantly arresting the clown and then defining that vandalism is breaking windows or trying to hack a door, not drawing as it is literally in the clowns job description to do so, then minor note him about abuse of power as security that would expire in a week him. Secondly I would silent note the greytide something along the lines of "Slipped and stole a baton from a secoff, then stunned another to free a clown" to expire in a week, it is very minor in my opinion as in all fairness the clown hadn't done anything illegal and no lethal force was used by the greytide. Finally I would ahelp the detective on why he used lethal force on an AoS order and try to understand it from his pov, if he has no previous warnings I would tell them not to use lethals so willy nilly and only as a last occasion and give them a medium level warning, however if he has warnings related to abusing power as sec there, unless he gives a damn good reason I would probably dish him out a Job ban for sec for a while or a temp ban, beforehand discussing it with another admin of course. You and another admin have been adminning for around an hour. The rate of issues has been easily manageable due to having 2 admins. Neither of you have been talking in admin chat. You are using ahelp to warn a player for breaking a rule when the other admin joins the ahelp and confirms that it is against the rules, but that it's fine in this case and they can ignore the rule for the rest of the round. You haven't taken any other admin actions yet, such as applying a ban or writing a note. I would admin chat to the other admin on why he would think that, and also check if he is a higher rank than me with adminwho, if they are a higher rank I would let it happen but report it as that is still admin abuse, if it's a lower ranking admin or equal ranked I would try to tell the admin that they are not allowed to do that and then go back to the ahelp and tell the person that they are not allowed to break that rule and ignore what the admin said, then later report that admin for admin abuse, unless they are a trialmin then I would just tell them clearly not to butt in others Ahelps and to never let anyone just, "ignore a rule" as it is Admin Abuse to do so then note the admin.

I hope you come to a correct conclusion, if you feel that after close to 2 years I am still a shitter who tried to ban evade you can keep me banned, but I feel that it would be fair to assume that isn't the case. You are all very good people who just want to keep SS14 or at least the wizden servers clear of people who make the game unfun to play for others or dissuade new players from joining the community, and if you think that I am one of those people, then you must be correct and I am sorry for wasting your time.

Reason the ban should be removed: It has been a full year since I got banned, and I wanna play on the official servers again, obviously I'm not new to the game anymore and won't do something as stupid as trying to ban evade again, I am truly, deeply sorry and just want to play some high pop, LRP, SS14 again.
