Mobs made conscious using cognizine are free to act as they wish, unless the game explicitly states otherwise. Here are a few examples: - A space carp made conscious could decide to be friendly, and hang out with the crew. - Ian made conscious could decide to bite his owner to death. Crew is allowed to deal with mobs that were made conscious using cognizine as they see fit. Diona nymphs are an exception to this clarification, as they are clarified here.

Just want to clarify some thing before processing, you mentioned your girlfriend, was this in the context of the game as in a roleplay or in real life? If it was the latter, can you clarify, you both had arranged to join the game but were not speaking in a 3rd party communication tool, eg discord, phone call, etc, Just in game chat?

The ban note mentions the powergaming the insuls and your explanation is essentially the definition of, "Just in case" door is shocked you should have the gloves. Ban is ended now so I'm going to close this appeal off.

Due to your attempt to evade your ban, you are banned indefinitely. You may appeal your ban, but only at least 6 months after your last ban evasion attempt, and only with a voucher of good behavior from another SS13/SS14 server. A voucher of good behavior should be obtained from a well-known or decently active SS13/SS14 server. If it is a mainstream server, we recommend using that server's admin-help to ask for a voucher from one of the administrators explaining that you are trying to appeal a ban on SS14's Wizard's Den and want to show you have been a problem-free player during your playtime on the server. A voucher should be indicative of at least a few months of play. If the voucher is not from a mainstream server, let us know and we will figure out a way to verify it.

I dont think anyone on the station considered my anouncement an actual sexual threat of any sort.

Currently many shifts become stale due to the dependency of Antags that may end up doing little to spice up the shift. I'd want to occasionally do small things to keep players occupied and create a more memorable shift. Have you ever had a negative experience in the game or with a game admin? Have you ever had a good experience with the game or a game admin? If so, what was it? Mostly just funny interactions. I frequently use a lizard character named Fights-Many-Bees. On occasion an admin finds the name funny and spawns a bee or two on me for me to fight. Quite a while ago on Lizard an admin spawned a large swarm of angry bees on me during evac; however someone shot them with a flare (this was when those still engulfed everything in a 3 yard radius) and ended up killing me. The admin then revived and spawned me on evac. The following are scenarios, respond with how you would handle each as an administrator. Respond with the assumption that you are an administrator with full access to the admin tools, and that you have all the knowledge needed to use these tools. Scenarios intentionally leave out information so that you can describe how different details would affect your response. Respond in detail, explain the reasons behind decisions you make and describe any assumptions you are making. When you need to make an assumption, it is preferred for you to describe how different assumptions would affect your actions. It is the start of the round. There are 60 players on the server. The game mode is traitors, traitors have not been selected yet. There are three players who decided to observe the round instead of join it orbiting you. Please describe what actions, if any, you would take in relation to each, and why. I'd ask the HoS the reasons for the coup, and check their remarks for any previously listed issues. If the reason is legitimate I'd let them play it out, however if there is no legitimate reason I'd give them a warning or maybe a short job ban depending on their behavior, severity of actions, or if this a repeat offense of some kind. I'd enquire the same line of questioning with the HoP to compare their response to the HoS's explanation; any punishment to the HoP depends a lot on their explanation, however I don't believe it would constitute much more than a warning should the reasons be illegitimate as they aren't the driving force here. What I'd ask the Captain depends a lot on what the HoS and HoP have to say; if they made a legitimate reason I'd ask the Captain their side of the story on the issue. If the Captain's actions constitute some sort of rule break I may give them a warning. The Quartermaster seemingly isn't involved in this and is just protecting the chain of command, however Id still ask them their side of the story just in case. The clown issue depends a lot, as I consider contraband an IC issue for Security, however I would be very concerned with how the clown obtained the sword and what they do with it. If the Captain gave it to them or the clown just found it on the floor then I'll leave it for Security, if they stole it by breaking into the Captains room or even robbing the Captain then I'd warn the clown for self antag behavior and instruct them to turn the saber in to Security, Command, or the Captain themself if possible. If the clown refuses, they'll be punished with whatever is usually deemed appropriate by the administration. You are ahelping a player about an issue. The player has no prior noted issues. A few days earlier, an admin had told you that this type of situation should result in a temporary ban for a first offense, and you are confident that this situation is not substantially different from the type that admin was describing. During the ahelp, another admin pings you on Discord with a link to the ongoing ahelp and tells you to just indefinitely ban them and make them appeal. Excluding trialmins and headmins, all admins are equally "ranked". A headmin is not currently available. I'd talk with the second admin about what I was told earlier. An indefinite ban seems very harsh for a first time offense, however that depends a lot on said offense and its impact on the players and round as a whole. I'd want to discuss this with other available admins before deciding. If I can't then I'd compromise with the other admin and set a short ban that's long enough for me to later consult with an available headmin for their decision on the matter.

depends on the context. if you're talking about a player interaction then yes, if you refer to an interaction as 'torture' then your sentence can be decreased or increased depending on the assailant or person doing the torture, as per spacelaw rule 12 you can't harass a single player and make their life hell (i.e. torture). Even if it was an antag torture isn't permitted to or from them. Believe me if you want, i'm just some guy who thinks logically (mods remove this comment if i'm wrong)

I was still new to the game back then so I tough it would pass. But alas that didn't happen. I got to med and called the cmo over in maint. Then I procceded to beat him up with my stun rod, stuffed him in a locker and launched him into space. Then admin messaged me and banned me. Reason the ban should be removed: Now that I have over a 100 hours on this game I think I am more mature to play as a sec officer again. And will promise to keep the peace at the station as much as I can.

most of the timeit just gets stuck on failed to fetch servers list all the time. I really don't know what to do.

there are certain times in the day where this happens a lot and when I am able to see the servers list it get stuck on Updating: fetching server manifest... and gets stuck for like 1 hour I press cancel gets stuck for another 30 mins click another server same things happens get stuck for 1 hour Refresh Failed to fetch some or all servers on list. I don't know how to fix this help.

I was still banned 5 minutes later without a ahelp to ask or anything. I do understand this is zero tolerance policy, however this was an honest mistake. I would never say offensive terms such as this. Please check the Chatlogs following the instance where I said "fag".]

Events leading to the ban: I was not looking for big server's, I didn't want a massive rp but still low rp if that makes sense. I, wanting to help the station saw there was no sec. So I took up the job. I did this a couple times over. Reason the ban should be removed: I understand what I did was wrong, I have read the rules over again and I found that that is not acceptable and I wish to help the station again, If you would like any more information on the subject please respond to this. This is generally up to Command to decide and carry out" Length of ban: 3 days Events leading to the ban: On a low populated server, with no security and one active playing command (RD was active but admittedly was not fully aware of everything going on/was trying to set up as being a stand-in captain, HoP had rage-quitted when he died), a syndicate had started shooting and killed a few people. After the stations crew took them down and brought them to med, they had escaped and I had to crit/kill them to contain them. A chef had come along and took the body back to his freezer. After stripping the syndicate of their clothes, I had said "Alright. Spike em" to the chef. In saying this, was the reason why I had gotten banned as it can be taken as an order. Reason the ban should be removed: I feel as that the chef would of spiked them anyway, with or without my input. They had already started to drag the corpse to the freezer, and with a passing passenger shouting "Dinner!", they knew what would be happening. Evac wasn't that far off so it's not like they missed out on.. say 2 hours of gameplay. Getting word from the admin via ahelp was... rather slow? Like I had maybe 2 or 3 messages from them, and it was quite a long time between them all, and no final warning/word from the admin about it. [Note: the ban says it was on round '51653', but this happened on round '51647']
